    2. no no no nocliff lemming.. tell us exactly who you need and what time period and let some of the rest of us try to help you... If you ever find Emma Steiner Carman Miller born 1869 hiding in any cemetery or ocean or married to someone else. besure to notify me before you notify Bev Carman-- haha-- we are both looking for her and have told Beverly it is giving me something to do to hunt her down.. I want to go to Illinois I think I found her married again in Illinois.. to a Calvort or Carvort, Carvalt , one of those variations. 2. Everyone, I came across this article from the Owen Country Journal newspaper that was reprinted in The Hoosier Magazine and appeared in a book of consolidated Hoosier Mag info in my local library History Room here in VA. Apparently there was a group of Old Settlers who met and reflected on the pioneer days, told stories, etc. Who knows if the listing of attendees is complete. And certainly not all the Old Settlers were even present. It just another "bit" of info to tease and torment those of us trying to track out ancestors. Sorry to cause anyone any additional frustration. Pat
