Hello All, Here is a link to an index of Midwestern subjects, both personal and geographical, in "The Christian Record". The index contains entries for Bedford College. According to the introduction, this was published in Bloomington and Bedford. Index: http://www.mun.ca/rels/restmov/texts/cr/crintro.html Several Midwestern persons are listed. This is merely an index, I'm not sure how you go about getting the actual article. But, if I remember correctly, much of this information is kept in Nashville TN. Also, an article concerning the history of the Christian Church: http://www.mun.ca/rels/restmov/who.html And, finally, the link that I used to get to it all: http://members.aol.com/dishistsoc/ Best to All, Brad ----- Original Message ----- From: "John H. Debbie Are the cemetery listings in a form such that you can do OCR scanning??? i know that you can scan photos so I assume that device and its software must enable you to OCR scan text items. Or why can't you simply include the lists as photo copied pages??? Wish I were there and well enough to help you!!!!! Maybe you could photo copy me 1 page from 1 cemetery and I could print it and then OCR it and return the result!!! Want to try that??? As everyone knows I am attempting to get the cemetery listings on our website. Some of these are EXTREMELY large, (50+ pages). With these cemeteries I have finally decided that the best way to do them is to enter of portion at a time. I am sorry, but they are just too large to do at one time. The following cemeteries will fall into that category, and I will let you know when a new addition has been made to them. DUTCH BETHEL PLEASANT BETHEL/GREENBRIAR GOSPORT SAMARIA RIVERSIDE (inclusive pages are 3/4 " thick) CHAMBERSVILLE BEECH (there are 3) GERMAN REFORMED PATRICKSBURG it is my desire to get them all placed EVENTUALLY it will just take time. I'm researching the family of : John BALDWIN b. 1797 MD. m. Elizabeth THOMAS b. 1807 VA, they were married 1 Mar 1828 Spencer Co.,KY. John's family had lived in Nelson Co.KY....his father being Thomas BALDWIN b. ca1774 Anne Arundel Co.MD. Through my research it would seem that most of the BALDWIN children and spouses migrated to Owen Co.IN during the 1820's. John and Elizabeth lived there until sometime after 1844, then moving on briefly to Putnam Co.IN by 1850 and finally settling in Montgomery Co.IN by 1860 where I believe that they both died after the 1870 census was taken, as I have not been able to find them since that time. They had eight children and also raised a granddaughter Mary Ann. Their oldest son being my GGgrandfather George the others were John , Robert, James T., Maxamillia "Mary", Delilah, Margaret and William all born in Owen Co. If anyone has any connections with this line of BALDWIN's I would like to hear from you. Thanks, N.J.Skinner White in MI [email protected]

Some of the children were born in Ohio, possibly Warren Co. They intermarried with the FISCUS, HICKS, HAUSER, ARNEY, PUGH/PEW, CHILDRESS, PHILBERT/FILBERT, and possibly BULL.
