    3. Seeking information on Andrew J Pittman, born 9-14-1798,Nelson Co Ky. Married 11 year old Elizabeth "Betsey" Nutterfield/Nutterfee,of Shelby Co., Ky., 5-23-1822, in Nelson Co Ky. Also, married Millie Zimmerman, 7-31-1837, Nelson Co Ky... What happened to Elizabeth. Was there a divorce? She married? abt 1830-1833, John CARTER Jr., (Where?), and lived in Owen Co., Indiana, until her death 5-2-1866. Is this the same Andrew J Pittman, who was an early settler in Owen Co., In? There were 2 Andrew Pittmans in early Owen Co., and another just across the river in Monroe Co., In. What is the connection... Any help appreciated. Thanks. Dick Carter [email protected]

    3. According to the migration schedule, a John CARTER migrated from Spencer Co., Ky., by way of Nelson Co., Ky., before 1840, and settled in Montgomery Twp.,(later Taylor Twp) Owen Co, In. He is found next door to Nancy Nutterfield, whose daughter Eliza, he married about 1830. He had a "Deaf & Dumb" brother Job, born about 1807. 3. If you have access to the 1870 census for Morgan, Owen, or Putnam county, Indiana, I am seeking a lookup for a DUNKIN/DUNCAN family with at least the following. SARAH age 49, son JAMES, age 16, and perhaps daughter SUSAN MARY/MARY SUSAN, age 14. Sarah and James are shown in Putnam Co in 1880, next door to Morris Carter and John Carter families. This could help tear down a roadblock of 30+ years. Thanks very much. Dick Carter [email protected]

    3. Who is C. ESON? We went to the Scott Cemetery, Franklin Twp. Owen Co. IN last week and found a red stone, broken on both sides, inscribed "C. ESON." Only date legible is "July," year in the next line might be 1825. Elizabeth SCOTT, daughter of Samuel & Milly (FOSTER) SCOTT married first Alexander EASON (sometimes spelled ESON) and had four children, one of them George who died at age 12. This tombstone is not listed in the DAR cemetery census. Please add it to your list. Thanks. If you would like a copy of the photo of the tombstone, send a personal request. Nancy Skinner White took the picture & I have it also on my computer. Nancy Scott nancy

My antiquing "buddy" has all of the names written down for the children, etc. I was just doing a search online to see if I could find this fellow and notify some descendant of this needlepoint's existence before it ended up as "folk" art on someone else's wall. I saw the name on a head of household listing for Owen County (1870 I think), which is great because I actually belong to this list! Anyone out there have this fellow in your tree? Alison Scott
