    3. SORRY - really slow week - been #1 cleaning out a basement that got flooded twice this month (yes, I was stupid and had genealogy and "family" stuff down there - get it out NOW if you do) and a little fun going to the grandsons (have 3 playing this year) ball games Anyway QUESTION -- anyone know where Council Bluffs is? It is 8-10 miles from Linden but that could be in several different counties or Montgomery, too. Anyone know? Here ya' go *WEEK 3--* *OBITUARIES: _15__ - Names include: Cisna; Hodgson; Holt; Harper* *TOWNS (now at 219 - unbelievable but proven - thanks to my great helpers, Jerry, Suzie + -- _ 1 - 2_ - Added 1 town, Meharry Grove (which was more like an area but we're countin' it :) and added information on two more :)*

    3. When I googled "Council Bluffs, Indiana" -- without the quotes -- all I got was a UFO report which from internal evidence (mention of I-29) seems to be intending Council Bluffs, Iowa. I'm so sorry to hear about the flooding. It's been a wet year for lots of folks who do not normally flood, I suspect. My sympathies for the lost genealogy. Me, too -- but it was water leaking in from above in my case. Papers had been transferred to a part of the barn where "of course" they'd be perfectly safe! Hmmm. You know, it's probably accidents like these which keep the world from collapsing under the weight of genealogist's paper records!Kathy > Date: Tue, 21 May 2013 22:18:47 -0400 > From: karen.zach@sbcglobal.net > To: INMONtgo@rootsweb.com > Subject: [InMontgo] Really slow week :( > > SORRY - really slow week - been #1 cleaning out a basement that got > flooded twice this month (yes, I was stupid and had genealogy and > "family" stuff down there - get it out NOW if you do) and a little fun > going to the grandsons (have 3 playing this year) ball games > > Anyway QUESTION -- anyone know where Council Bluffs is? 3. Yeah, we finally figured that out as there's a Linden Iowa also - shucks. I remembered after Suzie sent it that there used to be a section like that in those old papers that told yukky news from afar :( Thought I had another county murder mystery On 5/25/2013 11:01 AM, Jeffery Scism wrote: > On 5/21/2013 7:18 PM, Karen Zach wrote: >> Council Bluffs > Iowa. > > http://indianagenweb.com/inmontgomery/ > > List Manager - inmontgo-admin@rootsweb.com > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to INMONTGO-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
