    3. This poor woman doesn't have a first or maiden name - I don't see 'em in the 1870 census; him in 1880; wish I had access to 1880 mortality schedule - she might be in it -- before Death Records were kept of course; not in our (CDPL) cemetery index; findagrave; marriages - GRRRRRRRRRRRR I thought B.F. was probably Benjamin Franklin but don't find him either - you'd think a Dr. could do his wife a bit prouder than leaving her hanging on the Montgomery County GenWeb page huh? :(

What a hoot - I was so upset about not even having a first let alone a maiden name that I forgot to include the obit - thanks Marilyn for calling attention to that - here we go - here's the pathetic little notation of Mrs. B.F. Allen's death Source: Waynetown Banner, 1-17-1880 Died - On Saturday evening at 6 p.m. of pneumonia, the wife of Dr. B.F. Allen at the family residence on Wabash avenue. The funeral services took place Monday at 1:30 and the remains were interred in Oak Hill cemetery.
