    2. He shows up in at least one family tree at Ancestry. Harriet Weatherford is the author of the tree, which has no parents for James, born in Shelby Co KY in 1828. He left there with a young wife, Mary Ann McClain, during the Civil War. That may have been an interesting story. He came to Parke County, went to Sullivan County, then came back to Parke, living in Union Twp. A son Jesse S Shelburne has no further information, but daughter Mary E Shelburne married unknown person and had Catherine Carter. Catherine outlived her spouse Fred Otis Payton, dying in 1968. Yes, James Shelburne deserved a better obit. http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/847513/person/-1805003234 ----- Original Message ----- From: "jeff" <jeff@ibssg.org> To: inmontgo@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, March 28, 2014 2:11:54 PM Subject: Re: [InMontgo] Odd obit Just take it as they are.....
