Crawfordsville Journal Review Dec 8 1966 -- Frank Clements, 88 died Tuesday night in Bowles Convalescent Home here. Mr. Clements was one of the first rural mail carriers int he US serving in Montgomery Co for many years until his retirement. He resided on E. Wabash Ave most of his life and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Born in May of 1878, he was a son of Henry G. and Mary Hamilton Clements. He was married to Roxie Davis, who preceded him in death. Surviving are a grandson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral HOme here with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
