Crawfordsville Journal Review 11-30-1966 - Gould W. Westfall, 72 of 205 E. College St, died Wed afternoon in St. Francis Hospital at Beech Grove after an illness of several months. Mr. Westfall was a used furniture dealer most of his life except 2 years when he was employed by RR Donnelley & Sons. He was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church, Athens Saddle Club & Fraternal Order of Police. A veteran of WWI, he was a 45-year-member of Byron Cox Post of the American Legion. Born Oct 3, 1894, in Montgomery County, he was a son of George & Mary Jane Oppy Westfall. He was married in 1916 to Ruth Marie Williams. She died in 1955. Surviving are two sons, Maurice and Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Madge Wright and Mrs. Mary Alice Allom; a brother, John; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Pflughaupt; 10 grandchidlren and two greats. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dayton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. RG Skidmore, pastor of West Newton Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Oak HIll Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
