    3. Crawfordsville Journal Review 9 Jan 1965 p 4 -- Mrs. Helen M. Curtin, 70, a Montgomery County native and a resident of Crawfordsville died early Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital. She had been ill for many months prior to her death and hospitalized since January this year. Born November 15, 1894, in Montgomery County, Mrs. Curtin was the daughter of Charles t. and Effie B. Heffner Carver. She married Charles F. Curtin in Crawfordsville July 17, 1920. He preceded his wife in death June 23, 1960. He was a captain on the city police for many years. Mrs. Curtin was an employee of Montgomery Wards in Crawfordsville for over 20 years, retiring there 8 years ago. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, St. Joseph Club, Royal Neighbors and War Mothers. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Survivors include two sons, Bernard M. Curtin and Charles T. Curtin; a grandson and granddaughter, a brother, Archie E. Carver; a niece, Mrs. Ray Farrell and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10 Thursday at St. Bernard's Church, Rt. Rev Msgr Henry F. Ward will be in charge. Burial will be in Calvary Cem. Friends may call at the Bright Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wed. Rosary services will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.. Wednesday by the Rosary Society.
