Crawfordsville Jounral Review 2 July 1947 -- Gerald S. Campbell died early Wednesday morning at his home, 5 miles east of Crawfordsville. His death followed a long period of ill health that began when he was stricken with polio 7 years ago. Mr. Campbell was the only child of John and Anna Shaver Campbell and was born Oct 25, 1911. He was a graduate of Crawfordsville HS 1930. He was married Oct 10, 1937 to Miss Margaret Cowan and to this union were born 3 sons: Larry, John and Eddie. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. RG riemann. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
