I consider reported birthplaces as only about 50% accurate on census. The person who is reporting either wasn't there (if reporting a parent), or the primary individual was a new-born infant who wasn't noticing his/her surroundings. About this one, some folks went from NC to TN before migrating further. You may want to look for Clodfelters among the Gladdfelters (not sure of all the spellings) who were German Baptist Brethren. I'm pretty sure Clodfelter is the anglicized form. Wonder if this is HER son vs his son? The Clodfelters are all from NC but I think this might be a married name - wish it said how many times they were married - just says M http://ingenweb.org/inmontgomery/ List Manager - inmontgo-admin@rootsweb.com ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to INMONTGO-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
