Crawfordsville Journal Review 7-19-1950 - Steve Court, 60, a resident of this city 28 years died of heart seizure at 5 o'clock Wed monring at Culver Hospital. He had been in failing health 4 years. Born in 1890 on the land of Crete, Mr. Court came to Crawfordsville in 1922 when he and a business associate, harry G. Gianakis, opened the New York She Rebuilders shop here. Previously he lived in Indianapolis. He was associated with the shoe shop until 1947 when he retired because of his health. Mr. Court was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church in Indianapolis. Since coming to this city he had attended the First Methodist CHurch. Surviving are three brothers, George, John and NIck Court and a sister, Mrs. Sophia Pataras and several nieces and nephews all living in Crete. The boy (sic - body) was taken to the Hunt & Son Funeral Home where firends may pay their respects after noon Thursday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
