Crawfordsville Journal Review Feb 17, 1962 -- Ernest M. Myers, 85, 404 S. Washington Street, a former trustee of Union Twp, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the Hunter House. He was born Feb 27, 1876 in Crawfordsville. His parents were Noah Elias and Elizabeth P. McClelland Myers. He was a graduate of Crawfordsville HS and Wabash College; he also attended law school. He lived in Altoona, PA for several years, returning to Crawfordsville to take a position with Mid-States Steel & Wire Co. He was a member of the Wabash Avnue Presbyterian Church. He is survived by a first cousin ? Collins of Crawfordsville a second cousin, Mrs. Joe M. ? of Crawfordsville. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Kritz and Ms. Helen Burgess. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bright Funeral Home with Rev. John G. Carter officiating. Burial will be in Oak HIll Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday.
