Crawfordsville Journal Review 3-3-1962 - Virgil F. Morris, 61 of Rt. 2, Crawfordsville died at 3 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital. He had been seriously ill 8 days. Born Dec 15, 1900, he was the son of Emmert and Minnie Scott Morris. he was married June 4 1921 to Mable E. Zohlman. Mr. Morris was employed by RR Donnelley & Sons for 32 years. He worked in the bindery department and was a member of the firm's recreation committee. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge here and the Old Union Church at Jamestown. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Morris; two sons, Virgil F. Morris, Jr. and M. Sgt William E. Morris, who is serving in the US Marines and is stationed at Arlington VA; and two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Art of and Mrs. Peggy Studer. He was preceded in death by his father who died last dec 28. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Hunt & Son Funeral Home here with Rev. Dean Stuckey in charge. Interment was in Mace K of P Cemetery. The Masonic Lodge conducted graveside rites.
