Crawfordsville Journal Review 11 Oct 1950 -- Mrs. Anna Pearl Krug, 68, wife of Emory C. Krug, former chief of the city fire department died suddenly Wednesday morning at her home, 312 1/2 S. Walnut Street. Born April 4, 1882, near Westfield, in Hamilton County Mrs. Krug was the daughter of Robert Reynolds and Mary Stanbrough Reynolds. She married Emory C. Krug Jan 2 1909. Mrs. Krug attended the Sheridan grade schools and Darlington HS. She had resided in Montgomery County since 1894. From 1913-1929 the fmaily home was in the 800 block of Milligan Street. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and the Woman's Coeity of Christian Service of the church. Mr. Krug who was a member of the city fire department 38 years served as chief from 1918-1922. Surviving besides the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Sheets; a son, Ralph Krug; a brother, Franz Reynolds of Mace; two grandsons; three nephews and several cousins. Besides the parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harley E. Reynolds and Iva T. Reynolds. The body was taken to the Bright Funeral Home. Arrangements for the services will be announced later.
