Crawfordsville Journal Review 29 Jan 1948 -- Mrs. Goldie Marie Beecher, 47, 1309 Darlington Avenue died Thursday morning at Culver Hospital. She had been ill 3 months. Born November 2, 1900, in Crawfordsville, Mrs. Beecher was the daughter of Joseph and Emma Sering Toney. She married Frank G. Beecher of this city June 1, 1921. Mrs. Beech was a lifelong resident of this city. She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church and attended Crawfordsville HS. Surviving are the husband; three children; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Richmond and Mrs. Helen Coahran; one brother, William Carl Toney and the parents. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home, with burial at Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the residence until noon Saturday.
