Crawfordsville Jounral Review April 5 1948 - Funeral services for Charles M. Gregg, prominent Crawfordsville business man were held at the Bright Funeral HOme Monday afternoon with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. The officiating minister was Dr. RG riemann of Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church of which the deceased was a member. Assisting at the rites as pallbearers were Gordin Beemer, Bloomington; Leslie Helmer, Cumberland, Md; Ernest lyle of Lebanon; Richard FIsher, Chicago and James Whiteside, Lloyd Ringler, Goerge Manson and Robert Harding all of Crawfordsville. The honorary pallbearers were Dr. Edgar Van Der Volgen, TC Crabbs, Chase Harding, Will harding, WK Martin, Foster Fudge, LC Fisher, Cliff VOris, Charles McClamroch, harry N. Fine and Clyde Randel of Terre Haute. Mr. Gregg, a lifelong resident of this city, died Friday morning at Culver Hospital. He had been ill several months.
