To the clerk of the Montgomery Cirtcuit Court in the state of Indiana John Webster being an alien and a free white person makes the following report of himself - upon his solemn oath decreas that he is aged 65 years, that he was born in the County of Armagh Ireland that he emigrated from Liverpool in the year 1850 that he arrived in the United State at the city of NY in the state of NY in the month of October 1850 that he owes allegiance to Queen Victoria Queen of Great Brittain and Ireland and that it is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States of America and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty whatever and particularly to Queen Victoria as aforesaid of whom he is a subject.
