Crawfordsville Journal Review Jan 25, 1923 -- Mrs. Emeline Harris, 69, died yesterday at 12:30 o'clock at the family residence, 214 N. Washington street, following an illness of two weeks of heart trouble. She spent practically all of her life in Crawfordsville. She was born near Linden, March 24, 1854, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius McCarthy. SHe was married to Henry Harris. The husband, two daughters, Mrs. A.RF. Reynolds and Mrs. Charles Jones and one son, Scott Harris, of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Tyler of Indianpaolis and Mrs. Rachel Forgey of St. Joseph Mo. survive. The funeral was conducted at the home of Mrs. Reynolds, 114 W. Spring Street at 2 o'clock Thursday with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
