Crawfordsville Journal Review Nov 30, 1966 - Morris C. Quigg, 68, of Rt. 7, Greencastle Rd, died at 8:30 pm. Wednesday in Culver Hospital after an extended illness. A farmer, he was formerly employed by DeKalb Agriculture Assn, State Highway Dept. and city of Crawfordsville. He was a member of the Gravelly Run Friends Church. Born Feb 11, 1898, near Darlington, he was a son of Francis and Tacy Johnson Quigg. He was twice married. The first time to Vera Grimes, who died in 1941. His second marriage was to Ethel Busenbark, who survives. They were married August 15, 1943. Survivors in addition to the wife include 4 brothers: Clifford, Claude, Halford, and Curtis and four sisters, Miss Rena Quigg and Miss Mabel Quigg. Mrs. Oka Hymer and Mrs. Roy Sorrels. He was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bright Funeral Home here with Rev. Gene Sandefaur of New Market and Clyde Peck of Crawfordsville officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
