Crawfordsville Weekly Review 23 April 1881 -- "Over the River" -- Thomas Steward died of lung fever at the residence of PH Nichelson last Sunday evening. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Freyley at the residence. The interment took place at the Peterson Cemetery.
