Crawfordsville Daily Journal 26 March 1928 -- Tumor caused the death of Robert Clements, a resident of this city and formerly resident of Ladoga, Saturday night at midnight. Mr. Clements had been ill for aobut six months. For the past 20 years he had resided in Crawfordsville and previous to that time resided at Ladoga. Robert Clements was 78 years old, having been born July 3, 1849 in County R' Mau, Ireland, the son of John and Rebecca Clements. He came to Indiana in 1872. he is a member of the Episcopal Church. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Corner who lives in Ohio, 3 brothers, John Clements of Kansas City, George E and Thomas of Crawfordsville. His wife, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held from the Hunt & Ratcliff Funeral Home here at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial will be made at Oak HIll Cemetery.
