Crawfordsville Daily Journal Oct 11, 1921 - An interesting incident was witnessed in the supreme court in Washington DC Friday when 3 women lawyers were admitted to practice before the high tribunal. They were MIss May Warner of Indianapolis, Miss Ruth Levy of New York City and Miss Clara Triedman Grose of Memphis, Tenn. Miss Warner is a Crawfordsville girl. she graduated from the local high school and taught in the county for a number of years. From here she went with her mother to Indianapolis and later,a fter the death of her mother went to Washington DC where she entered Washington College and graduated a few years later form the law department. Miss Warner is a sister of John H. Warner of this city.
