Crawfordsville Journal Review 9-28-1966 - Cecil G. Long, 64, died Wednesday night in a Jacksonville, FL hospital following an illness of three years. A native of Crawfordsville, Mr. Long was born March 27, 1902, to George and Effie Long. He was married to Blanche White in Russellville in June 1926. He worked for MidStates Steel & Wire in Crawfordsville for 10 years beofre being transferred to Jacksonville where he worked for 20 years with the firm. Surviving include the widow; two daughters, Sue Ellen and Mrs.Lois Pfeifer; three aunts, Mrs. Minnie Dale; Mrs. Grace Clifton and Mrs. Stella Strawser, an uncle, Richard McMurray 5 half sisters; a brother-in-law, Roscoe D. White and 8 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending.
