Crawfordsville Review Fri May19, 1916 p 4-Mrs. Helena Emsing age 70 died at Lafayette Wednesday night at the family residence 9905 N street of a complication of diseases. She came to Lafayette form Holland when 4 year sold. Her first husband was the late Nick Schultz and they lived in this city for many years. In 1883 she married Barney Emsing of Lafayette. Several children survive. The funeral will be held at St Boniface Church at 9 Sat morning. Rev. Father Florian Breide will officiate with interment in St. Boniface cemetery, friends are requested to please omit flowers .
