Crawfordsville Journal Review, Monday, November 18, 1963, page 8 Charles Chenault Succumbs At 80; Funeral Tuesday LADOGA- Charles F. Chenaultt [sic], 80, died at 7 a.m. Sunday in the Westbrook Nursing Home in Crawfordsville, where he had lived since May 11, 1961. He had been in ill health the last four years. Mr. Chenault was born Dec. 31, 1882 in Fountain County, a son of Robert and Elizabeth Long Chenault. He was married in Crawfordsville Jan. 25, 1911 to Fanny Owens, who preceded him in death. For some years he lived and farmed in the Linden neighborhood. For the last 20 years he lived in the New Market-Ladoga area. He made his home with a nephew, Ernest Chenault. Mr. Chenault was the last of his family. Survivng are five nieces and three nephews. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Gephart Funeral Home in Ladoga, with Rev. John Servies officiating and burial in Indian Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
