WILLIAM HANCOCK DIES IN THIS CITY MONTH'S ILLNESS WITH COMPLICATION OF DISEASES IS FATAL William Hancock, aged 60 years, expired following a four weeks' illness with a complication of diseases about noon Friday at his home in the Junction house. Born Dec. 22, 1874, the deceased was the son of Joseph M. and Samantha Jane Hancock. He attended the United Brethren church. Surviving are the wife, Mrs Rose Hancock, of Indianapolis; a sister Mrs. Lucy Mediem, of Wawaka, Ind., and five brothers, Jesse O. and George M. Hancock of this city; John Hancock of Brownsburg; Robert Hancock, of Gary, and Forrest of Oregon. Funeral services for Mr. Hancock will be conducted from the Proffitt & Sons funeral home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. W. W. Roberts.
