MRS INA H MYERS DIES SUDDENLY AT CULVER HOSPITAL _____________________ Popular Young Woman and Wife of Byron F. Myers, Dies After Son Is Born ______________________ Ina Hazel Myers, wife of Byron F. Myers, died suddenly at the Culver hospital Thursday night [4 Feb 1926] following the birth of a son. Mrs. Myers death took place at 11:30 p.m., one hour after the son was born. The young woman's death is a tragic one and leaves the members of her family prostrated with grief. Heart failure is believed to have been the cause. Mrs. Myers was a very popular young woman of this city and her sudden death comes as a great shock to her many friends. For a few years she was prominently connected with the schools here having taught at the Mills and in Fiskville. She was born Oct 30, 1893, southwest of Waynetown and came with her family to Crawfordsville eight years ago. Mrs. Myers was the daughter of Decatur and Emma Thompson Wilkinson. United in marriage on October 26, 1924 to Byron F. Myers, the couple went to Indianapolis where they had since lived. Recently Mrs Myers returned to her parents' home here and a few days ago was taken to the Culver hospital. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Christian church here and of the order of Rebekahs. Besides her husband and infant son, Mrs Myers is survived by her parents, Mr and Mrs Decatur Wilkinson, 1107 west Main street, one brother, Fred of this city and one sister, Mrs. Sylvia M. Walters of Indianapolis. The condition of the infant son is reported to be very satisfactory. The funeral services will be conducted from the Christian church here Sunday afternoon at two o'clock in charge of the Rev John Servies.
