Crawfordsville Journal Review, Thursday, July 13, 1961, page 10 Mrs. Roland Carney Dies in California WINGATE- Mr. and Mrs. Ben Utterback received word Tuesday of the death of Mrs. Roland Carney of San Carlos, Calif. July 10. Funeral and interment were to be at San Carlos. Mrs. Carney was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Washburn of Attica. The Carney family were former Wingate residents. Mr. Carney is better known as “Bill.”
