I don't know what happened to Jackson Newkirk, but pretty sure his parents are: John R. newkirk 1797-1861 (lived Jackson Twp, Fountain Co) and wife Susan Fruits (who was the d/o John George of Rev War fame :) Sorry, just jotted it down and didn't put dates but not too many Jacksons I'd think in this area 1850 Ft.
