    1. [InMontgo] odd timing re receipt of John M Macy marriage records on Ancestry
    2. This message arrived at the list 2 days after I sent it. (:  That means you received two copies of one day's diary, since I resent that one. I did think it's odd that the marriage you all have later been discussing didn't show up on Ancestry; however, for another marriage I went to the Clay Co genweb site and discovered their pre 1851 marriages were destroyed in a fire.  Not that this couple was married there, have no idea where, but it reminds of gaps in county marriage records.  Morgan County is missing a book for the same reason, and I'm sure there are others. 3. Sharon, that has happened to me too -- also this: I'll get messages which are "RE: something or other" for which I never received the original. 1. [InMontgo] messages not getting through or delayed
    2. Kathy, I have heard the same concerns on at least one other rootsweb list.  Maybe it's a temporary thing that needs monitoring.
