Crawfordsville Journal Review 2-Mar-1964 2: 6- Ida E. McClure Succumbs; Rites Will Be Tuesday- NEW RICHMOND- Mrs. Ida E. McClure, a life resident of Montgomery County, died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday of a heart ailment. She had been ill eight weeks and for several weeks was a patient in Culver Hopsital at Crawfordsville. A native of near Mace, Mrs. McClure was a daughter of Daniel and Jennie Heffner Beck. She married William Hess McClure at Wingate Dec. 23, 1945. For the last 51 years she had lived in New Richmond. She was a member of the Center Christian Church, Center Help Society, OES at New Richmond and the Loyal Workers Class of New Richmond. Survivors include a step daughter, Mrs. Edwin Flanigan of Crawfordsville; a stepson, Theron McClure of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Ingersoll of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Virgil Wilkinson of Waynetown; two brothers, John and Charles Beck of Waynetown; two step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A sister is deceased. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Center Church, where the body will lie in state for an hour beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery south of the church. Rev. Frank Williams will officiate. Friends may call at the Helms Funeral Home in Linden after 2 p.m. Monday.
