Source:  Crawfordsville Journal Review Monday Feb 9, 1987 -- William Paul Lewellen, 84, of Rt 3, Crawfordsville, died at 6:33 a.m. Saturday in Culver Union Hospital.  He had been a farmer all his life.  Mr. Lewellen was born April 6, 1902, at Crawfordsville to Harve & Lida Steele Lewellen.  He was married to Brownie Jones Oct 6, 1921, at Crawfordsville; she survives.  Other survivors are a brother, John of Phoenix and sister, Mary Fruits of Crawfordsville.  A son, Franklin is deceased.  Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev.
