    3. Hi Karen, I looked at the Marietta Gaines Memo book on microfilm once several (10?) years ago. She was from Boone County, Kentucky. The Clore, Deers and other related families all stopped in Boone County, Kentucky on the way to Indiana. Some for a few years, others for decades.     3. cathi and karen -- I still maintain that we should keep an index of notes like this on family migrations! They can be very useful. Glad you're having fun, Karen -- isn't it great? I've been pursuing the history of a man who married seven (possibly more) times between 1848 and 1886 -- incredible! His last, to my relative, lasted fifteen years until his death!
