Crawfordsville Journal Review 24-Dec-1963 pg. 4:2- William Wilkinson Dies At Hospital- William F. Wilkinson, Rt. 6, died Tuesday morning at Culver Hospital where he had been a patient two days. He was 81. Born in a log cabin south of Crawfordsville Dec. 9, 1882, Mr. Wilkinson was the son of Pascal and America Wilkinson. He was married to Laura B. Mason, who died in November o f 1950. He attended Montgomery County schools and was a farmer in the Linden area and north of Crawfordsville. Mr. Wilkinson was a member of Youngs Chapel Christian Church. He had made his home the past few years with a nephew, William G. Reed, on the old family farm. Surviving is a brother of Ceres, Calif. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Bright Funeral Home with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. John R. Servies will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday.
