MAYNARD C. DARNALL JR. Source - Crawfordsville Journal Review - 22 Sept 1975 Maynard C Darnall Jr., a certified public accountant, retired commander of USCG Reserve and native of Crawfordsville, died in Oakland, Calif., on Oct 17, 1975. Mr. Darnall was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard C. Darnall. His father was a former principal of Crawfordsville High School and superintendent of schools here. Mr. Darnall was a graduate of Purdue University. He is survived by his wife, Maida; daughter Margarett Jean of St. Louis; a brother, Edward C. of Edinburg, Tex., and three sisters, Mrs. E.W. (Marietta) Schilling of Lafayette, Mrs. R.R. (Martha) Bozell of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Mrs Marsh H. (Dorothy) Jones Jr. of Crawfordsville. Private family services were Oct 20.
