    3. Crawfordsville Journal Review, 1-Jun-1964, 8: 3 - Ed P. Stephens Succumbs At 80; Services Tuesday- Ed P.m Stephens, 80, 407 W. Main St., died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday in Bowles Convalescent Home here after an illness of seven weeks. He had been a patient at the convalescent home only one day. Born April 28, 1884 in Montgomery County, he was a son of Allen and Margaret Earl Stephens. He was married June 2, 1904 to Henrietta Jackman. They were married at the home of the bride near Shannondale. Mr. Stephens had been a resident of this city since 1959. Prior to that he resided in the Yountsville area 42 years. He farmed in Montgomery County all of his life. He attended Shady Nook School and was a member of the Christian Church at Waynetown. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. T. N. Rosser of Raleigh, N. C.; two brothers, Earl of near Waynetown and Roy of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Hudson of Crawfordsville; two grandsons, Eddie Stephens of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville and Lt. (j.g.) T. N. Rosser Jr. of Charleston S. C.; a granddaughter, Miss Ruth Rosser of Indianapolis; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, who died in 1960; a son, Lloyd A., who died last August, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
