Crawfordsville Journal Review 20-Oct-1962 5- Stella Mae Bannon 73, Dies At Home- Mrs. Stella Mae Bannon, 73, resident of Crawfordsville for more than 40 years, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday in her home at 609 Liberty St. She had been in failing health for several months. Mrs. Bannon was born March 9, 1889, south of Waynetown. Her parents were Jason and Nancy Mullen Keys. She was married April 15, 1908, to Clarence E. Bannon, who preceded her in death in 1955. She was a member of the Waynetown Methodist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mabel Ellis of Ladoga and Mrs. Zula Booker of McPherson, Kan., and five nephews. A sister, Bernice Harwood, preceded her in death. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Guy Tremaine will conduct the last rites. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may call at the funeral home.
