Crawfordsville Journal Review 7-Nov-1962 10- Lura Board Dies in Nursing Home- VEEDERSBURG- Mrs. Lura G. Board, 75, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Rudisill Nursing Home at Covington. She was born May 17, 1887 in Fountain County, a daughter of William and Sarah Murdock Mellott. She was twice married. Her first husband, Edgar Sentman, died. She married Earl Board of Veedersburg Nov. 4, 1959. Mrs. Board was a member of the West Minister Presbyterian Church at Bradenton, Fla. Where she was a resident for 10 years before her marriage to Mr. Board. Survivors include her husband; a son, Everett Sentman of Lake Forest, Ill.; a brother, Guy Mellott of Veedersburg; two sister, Mrs. Edith McKnight of Newton and Mrs. Daisy Benson of Menlo Park, Calif.; four stepsons and four stepdaughters. The body was taken to the Crumley Funeral Home at Hillsboro where funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday Rev. William Ainsworth will be in charge. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery in Wingate. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon and evening.
