The last place I have found him is in Madison, Montgomery, Indiana in the 1930 census working as a laborer. He is a native of KY, but I am finding no death information as I research KY records. Don't see him in the death record index; marriages; index to the obituaries from the newspapers or anything. You didn't list a wife or children - that might help find him as would some dates, too :) Coffman is a fairly common name here - perhaps he's relation to someone in the area.
