Crawfordsville Journal Review, 8-Jul-1963, 8- Lucy Kinkead Of New Market Dies- NEW MARKET- Mrs. Lucy F. Kinkead, 84, died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She was born March 20, 1879 at Lapland, daughter of William and Mary Davis. She married Fred M. Kinkead Dec. 6, 1896. He died in 1944. Mrs. Kinkead was a member of the New Market Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Floyd L. of Bedford and Donald D. of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Doris H. Arnold of Crawforsville; a brother, Straughn L. Davis of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home at Crawfordsville. Rev. Carl Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home.
