Maguire Dies At Hospital- NEW RICHMOND- Mrs. Lala Edna Maguire, 63, a resident of New Richmond 35 years, died Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where she had been a patient 12 hours. She had been in failing health since last August. Born Oct. 23, 1895 at Linden, Mrs. Maguire was the daughter of Hubbard Parker and Dora Burk Parker. She married Lora Parker Feb. 14, 1918. Mrs. Maguire was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church and the New Richmond Royal Neighbors Lodge. She was a graduate of Linden High School. Survivors include the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Madge Thayer of New Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Rich, also of New Richmond; a brother, Renzo Parker of near Calumet City; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the New Richmond Christian Church, with Rev. John Cachiaras officiating. Friends may call at the McCloud Funeral Home in Linden after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at the Linden Cemetery.
