Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church here on Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Olin Stewart. Interment at Union Cemetery. The following obituary was read: "Jesse James Marshall was a son of Tobe and Susan Marshall, and was born at Waveland, Ind., July 13, 1884, where most of his life was spent and where his parents now reside. Some ten years ago he moved to Crawfordsville to take employment, and after being there two years was united in marriage to Clara Walden, when they moved to Rockville and resided there six years. Then they returned to Crawfordsville, where they have since lived. Several months ago he fell victim to the dread disease, tuberculosis, but with a brave fortitude kept going to work as long as he possibly could. He has been a member of the Methodist Church at Waveland for many years and all who have known him admire his courage, patience, and loving disposition."
