Crawfordsville Journal Review, 29-Nov-1966, 3: 3- Rites Conducted For James Rush- WAYNETOWN- Funeral services for James (Jim) E. Rush were conducted at the Servies Funeral Home Saturday afternoon with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Mrs. M. B. Snyder was organist and included a selected number, "In The Garden." The pallbearers, who also assisted with the flowers, were members of the Wingate Masonic Lodge; Jesse Haxton, Robert Fulwider, Clarence Rhodes, Alton Haas, Ben Utterback and John Wilson. Waynetown American Legion Post conducted graveside rites in the Masonic Cemetery with J. M. Riekeberg as acting commander. The firing squad included William Furr, Raymond Myers, Curt Calder and Phil Biddle. Serving in the color guard were C. L. Miller, R. D. Capehart, Foster Watts and Thomas Orrick, Claude C. Cord was chaplain.
