Anyone know where on the net I could find a perpetual type calendar where I could type in a day (say Jane Doe died on Tuesday before the 8th of March 1902 then what date exactly did she die) and it would give me that date? These old obituaries are driving me nuts as I don't have an exact date of death :( Thanks KZ

Funny you should mention teachers are ageless. Each year I give my kids a little quiz about me - thinks they may hor may not know. One of them is how old is Mrs. Z? I get (from Freshmen mind you) anything from 30 to 80. Interesting. I think teachers, preachers, or anyone who has touched your life IS genealogy :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathleen Lynch" <kslynch62@hotmail.com> To: "Montgomery County" <inmontgo@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 24, 2008 10:33 PM Subject: Re: [InMontgo] Mary Ann Hughes?!?!? Suzy, that's terrific! I have to admit that this was not a genealogy question, but Katherine Wert was my absolute favorite teacher in junior high school. SUSANNAH SNYDER THOMPSON Crawfordsville Daily Journal, Saturday, March 5, 1904 Susannah Snyder was born at Daton, O., on July 22, 1841. She came to this county in 1855 and was married to James Thompson on September 2, 1858. Mrs. Thompson was the mother of twelve children, ten of whom survive her, three sons, Andrew and William of Yountsville, and Charles of Lafayette. The seven daughters, Mrs. Robert Lydick and Mrs. Thomas Harp, of Yountsville; Mrs, E.N. Ball, of Tampa, Fla.; Mrs, Frank VanDyke of Delphi: Mrs, Dan Yount, of Bloomington, Ill., Mrs, O.H. Hutchings and Mrs. W.A. Walters, of Crawfordsville, were all present at the time of her death. She leaves only one brother, Mr. O.N. Snyder, of Mitchellville, Ia. In the year 1900 Mrs. Thompson united with the Christian church in which she has been an earnest worker. On the 9th day of last May, her husband, James Thompson, died leaving her broken in spirit and health. She often expressed a desire that she might follow him, and when the grim reaper came it found not only prepared but anxious and willing to go and join him with whom she had spent a happy and useful life. She will be missed in many homes where her tender and watchfull care has nursed back to like some member of their family. She was a devoted and loving mother. Her life has been a useful one and though her death is our loss it is heaven's gain. The funeral services were held at the home near Yountsville Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by J.P. Stafford, pastor of the Yountsville <. E. church. Internment in Thompson's cemetery. Among the beautiful floral offerings was one sent by the Lafayette fire department of which Mrs. Thompson's son Charles is a member; also one came form the firm of Foley Brothers of Paris, Ill., with which Otis Hutchings, a son-in-law is connected.
