Evansville (IN) Daily Journal, February 19, 1863. James A. Steele of Company K, 14th Regiment, Indiana Volunteers, informs the Bloomington Republican that only seven enlisted soldiers remain in the company of the 100, including officers, that went out in it less than two years ago.
