After deliberating three hours the jury failed to agree in the surety of the peace case filed against "Knocky" Matthews by Wall W. Gentry. Matthews was required to give bond until the October term of court. The damage suit of Asaph Parker against the city of Bloomington has been sent to Bedford on a change of venue.
