The little fellow died at St. Vincent's hospital during the afternoon about an hour after he was knocked from his bicycle by an automobile near Broadway, having suffered a fractured skull. The driver of the car was William Gill, 38 years old, who was slated on a charge of involuntary manslaughter after the boy's death.
