There are several items on the first page of this issue of the paper regarding the death of Senator Samuel Ralston. . ton, north of Indianapolis. Within, a broken family circle, kept to itself, mourning the loss of the husband and father. Senator Ralston's death, the first in the family of five, ended weeks of suffering for him at 11 o'clock last night. He died peacefully after 24 hours of unconscious slumber. Final arrangements were made today for the funeral. The body will not be taken to the state capitol, as requested by several political leaders, but will lie in state at the Ralston home from 9 o'clock tomorrow morning until evening. Private services will be held at the home at 11:30 Saturday morning and the funeral party will leave immediately by automobile for Lebanon. At 2 o'clock Saturday services will be held in the Lebanon Presbyterian church followed by burial in the Lebanon cemetery. The funeral at Lebanon will be in charge of Rev. C. H. Carmichael of Ithaca, N. Y., former pastor of the Ralstons. Constance T.
