James Small has been elected President of the Cincinnati & St. Louis Railroad, which, upon reference to the map published in last week's Progress, will be found to connect with the C. & T. H. R. R. at Merom, and is about 150 miles in length. Mr. Small has been untiring in his efforts to turn the attention of capitalists and railroad men toward this part of Indiana, and deserves much at the hands of the corporations he has been instrumental in creating----------------------- Constance T.
